For two months in a row, I collaborated with the local community in Tilburg, delving into creative strategies to alleviate the debates encircling the Peerke Donders statue. I orchestrated an artistic pilgrimage walk and adorned the statue with drapery, serving as a symbolic representation of healing the impassioned discussions revolving around it. Through this gesture, we artistically confer a reverential importance upon the kneeling figure (symbolic of the enslaved individual).
